概要 | The study aimed to investigate the link between frailty and work-related accidents among older workers in Japan, as well as identify factors influencing participation in safety workshops and brochure reading. We assessed 7265 non-regular and indeterminate paid workers in Tokyo, categorizing them as robust, pre-frail, or frail. Results showed that pre-frail and frail individuals had significantly higher risks of work-related accidents compared to robust ones. Moreover, those who didn't participate in workshops or read safety brochures were also more prone to accidents. The findings underscore the need for support for older workers, both with and without functional impairment, to ensure safe work practices. |
