概要 | This study examines employee diversity in Japan’s hospitality industry by focusing on programs to support women’s success in the workplace. Results from a survey questionnaire of 265 firms that have earned the Japan 300 High-Service Award show that the hospitality industry surpasses other industries in introducing and expanding compensatory leave for overtime, introducing and expanding non-overtime days, increasing the taking of paid leave, and introducing and extending childcare and family leave, reducing working hours, and restricting overtime. This survey also addresses women’s skills in core competencies required of all employees. |
